Description
The environment and character "Alverii Accacia" is designed as the Dark Elf belonging to the Rogue Class.
It took me around a week to paint both; the character and its environment via Wacom. I still feel i can work more on it but for now im taking a break from this one.

Since you are learning to use the wacom and all that, i'll keep it little,...well..the background is really nice and gives a dark age look. but when we come to the character its not blending in the environment. When I sketch something, I always see that FROM WHERE THE LIGHT is coming. in this design, however one can't really tell that from where the light is coming. I can guess that the light is coming from behing and from the right corner, because of the shades of the character. secondly the area around her feet is kinda dark, so there should be darkness on her foot too.
The best thing to correct this is using the DODGE/BURN tool, that will help u create the soft shadows or glow where needed. dont use brush to make shadows or glow, well yeah u can use it when u are a professional and have full control over your wacom tablet .
PLUS, draw your character on the invisible layer, so when u want to do the photomanip, it would be easy for you to place is anyways.
